$5 per gallon gas by Memorial Day
I was riding in Consort’s dad’s vehicle (a GIANT SUV) and he was whaargrbling about how expensive gas was and how it cost him $70 to fill the tank last time.
And I bit my tongue (as I do in many interactions with Consort’s dad) because I really don’t want to hear about the price of gas while rolling down the road in this huge wasteful vehicle.
So yes, I understand the price of gas will hurt a lot of working-class people but hey, $3/gal gas wasn’t enough to make you buy a small car, $4/gal wasn’t enough either, maybe $5 will do the trick.
